Terms of Sale & Research Use Policy

1. Research use only

All products sold by Helix Research Labs are research chemicals intended solely for in vitro laboratory research by qualified persons.

• They are not drugs, food, dietary supplements, cosmetics or medical devices, and are not for human or veterinary use of any kind, including ingestion, injection, inhalation or topical application.
• They have not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
• Every vial is labeled "For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use."

2. Who may buy

By purchasing, you confirm that:

• you are at least 18 years old;
• you are purchasing for legitimate laboratory research, and you have the training and facilities to handle research chemicals safely;
• you will not use, resell or supply the products for human or veterinary use; and
• you are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to you, your institution and your location.

We may refuse or cancel any order, with a full refund, if we believe these conditions are not met, for example if an order or message refers to personal or human use.

3. We are not a pharmacy

Helix Research Labs is not a pharmacy, compounding pharmacy or outsourcing facility. We do not sell prescription drugs or compounded medications, we do not accept or fill prescriptions, and we do not provide medical advice, dosing information or instructions for human or animal use. We will not answer questions about personal use.

4. Product information

Each batch is tested by an independent laboratory (HPLC and mass spectrometry), and a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for the lot is supplied with every order and on request. Purity figures on our site reflect batch testing.

Product descriptions, research background and references summarize published scientific literature for reference only. They are not claims about any effect in humans or animals.

5. Orders, pricing and payment

• Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice; the price shown at checkout applies to your order.
• Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
• Sales tax is added where we are required to collect it. Shipping is calculated at checkout and is free on orders of $150 or more (before tax).
• An order is accepted when payment is confirmed. We may cancel orders affected by pricing errors, stock errors or suspected fraud, with a full refund.

6. Monthly subscriptions

Monthly subscription items ship and bill every month at the subscription price (10% off the one-time price) to the card used at checkout. Subscriptions have a two-month minimum term. After that, cancel at any time by emailing support@helixresearchlabs.org before your next billing date.

7. Shipping

• We ship within the continental United States only (not Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories or military addresses).
• Orders usually leave within 1–2 business days in plain, discreet packaging, by the USPS, UPS or FedEx service chosen at checkout. Delivery estimates are the carrier's, not guarantees.
• You receive a tracking link by email when the carrier first scans your package.
• Please check your shipping address before paying. We are not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address entered at checkout.

8. Cancellations, returns and refunds

• Before shipping: email us to cancel and we will refund you in full.
• After shipping: to protect product integrity, we cannot accept returns of research chemicals once they have left our facility.
• Damaged, incorrect or missing items: tell us within 7 days of delivery, with photos where possible, and we will send a replacement or refund the affected items.
• Lost packages: if the carrier confirms a package lost, we will send a replacement or a refund.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 business days.

9. Privacy

• We collect what we need to fulfil your order: your name, email address, shipping address and phone number. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not by us.
• We share order details only with the services that process and deliver it: our payment provider, our shipping label provider and carriers, and our email provider (for receipts and tracking emails).
• We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. It sets cookies, and it does not receive your name, email address or payment details. You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by blocking cookies.
• We do not sell your personal information. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted where the law allows, email us.

10. Responsibility and liability

Products are supplied for research purposes as described, without any other warranty. You are responsible for safe handling, storage and disposal in line with good laboratory practice. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for any loss arising from misuse of a product, including any use contrary to these terms. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the products contrary to these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States.
